Following the growth of CBIC’s operational and financial capacity, CBIC acquired 25 Green Square as a future development site, underpinned by a short-term lease to Brisbane City Council.
Several plans were developed for the site before being approached by the Queensland Government to purchase the site. Queensland Government intended to use the site for the expansion of the adjoining Fortitude Valley State School. A premium sale price above the valuation was agreed and the site was settled in early 2018.
